It’s hard to sum up life in China, but this is a collection of stories I’ve written about my life in China. There are a lot of stories about conversations I’ve had (in Mandarin) with locals, some posts about yummy Chinese food, and others about “normal life” as an expat in China.
This is not at all a comprehensive look at China, just a few tidbits from what I’ve learned living here as a foreigner for over ten years. I have also written reflections on my ten years in China, travel around China, and a list of some great expat blogs about life in China.
Below are lists of posts by topics: Conversations with local Chinese, Tales of a Foreigner in China, Beijing Weather and Pollution. I also have a series of posts about Chinese Food and Chinese Tea and Chinese language and culture.
